Personalised Christmas stockings are only available in large and medium sizes. Each name consists of capital letters at approximately 30mm high and lower case letters approximately 15mm high in white flock lettering, which is heat pressed onto the top of each stocking during construction and is non-removable. The stocking and lettering can be washed. Please note that only white flock is available for names. There is only sufficient space to allow for one first name per stocking. It will just be possible to have a name such as 'Mary-Anne' if there is a hyphen in the Christian name. If you have any questions re the length of name, please email before ordering.
This fabric will form the lower part of the stocking and a co-ordinating fabric will be chosen for the top to compliment the design. If red is chosen for the main part of the stocking then green & white spot will be used for the top as in the 'Jack' image. If green is chosen for the main part, then red & white spot will be used for the top as in the 'Amber' image. For any design using burgundy, a plain burgundy fabric will be used. Please also see the sample lettering image for the style of each script letter to be used for the name.
Each personalised Christmas stocking is made from 100% American Cotton Christmas fabric with a polyester (flameproof) wadding conforming to Furniture & Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1998. They have a polycotton lining and double-satin ribbon loop for hanging.
Medium stockings - approximately 16" x 11" in size
Large stockings - approximately 21" x 14" in size
N.B. The sizes are approximate due to sewing variations. The measurements are taken from the top edge near where the ribbon loop is stitched at the back of the stocking diagonally to the toe for the height and from the middle of the toe to the heel for the width.
