Christmas stockings, particularly personalised stockings which have to be made to order, can take up to 21 days to be processed, although we endeavour to dispatch all orders promptly, and we will advise you as to how long your order will take to be made. Everything is handmade to order, and although we try to keep higher stock levels of the more popular items (particularly with some of the bow tie designs) we will need time to personalise your items when requested.
Orders are usually dispatched from Wednesday onwards as the studio is closed on Monday & Tuesday. If there is a deadline to be meet, perhaps for a birthday or other event, please email your request and we will do our best to ensure prompt delivery.
Small Packages are sent via Royal Mail using 1st Class Recorded Delivery for tree stockings, small padded stockings, and bow ties. A courier will be used for all other Christmas Stocking orders, and orders to the Scottish Highlands will be sent via Special Delivery. Each package will therefore need to be signed for and can be sent to a different delivery address (such as a work address) if it is easier for you.
Please note: Our courier has requested that customers provide a mobile telephone contact number when placing an order so that they can be contacted if they are not at home after a delivery attempt has been made.

Cancelling or returning an order
If for any reason after you order you decide to cancel, you have 7 days from the date of placing the order to cancel under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 act. For this reason, when stockings are ordered to be personalised, the order will not be started until after the cooling off period, unless specifically requested to go ahead as an urgent order.
Guarantee and Returns Policy
At Fabricraft we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Our no quibble guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the item you have purchased, return it to us in a re-saleable condition within 7 days and we will issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights. The exception to this rule are personalised stockings, which cannot be returned unless they have a fault.

We strongly recommend that you obtain a free proof of posting from your Post Office. All costs incurred for returning any items to us are at your expense unless your order is faulty when received. Should any goods be damaged or faulty, please contact us on 01264 772 275 or alternatively you may email us.
Ordering from Fabricraft
Browse through our website and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. If paying by Paypal, please check to make sure you are using the registered email address for that account. Some customers have experienced a few problems in the past as they have several email addresses! Orders can also be sent to an address other than the registered address such as your workplace as parcels will need to be signed for.
Delivery schedule
We try to process all non-personalised orders within 7 working days once payment has cleared but this also depends on the current order levels. For personalised stockings and shoe bags, please allow up to 21 days. If you have a firm date when you need an item for, please email first as we will let you know whether this is possible. We will try to keep you updated on the progress of any order and will send an email when the parcel has been despatched.
Payment
We accept PayPal, safe online payments that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer - please email to request the bank details.
Packaging
We want you to receive your purchase in the same condition it left us. We use only good quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to insure that items are packed carefully to avoid unnecessary creasing of fabrics etc. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out, free of any charge. Customer service is a priority and we receive kind comments from customers each year about our products and on the way we have handled their orders.
Deliveries to UK & Overseas
For postal charges, please see the delivery page for the options available. Fabricraft reserves the right to replace any of the delivery services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. We will send items overseas but please email for a custom quote first before placing an order.
